Cardiff South and Penarth Lib Dems are campaigning to save the Kymin and its grounds for the people of Penarth.
Vale of Glamorgan councillors have shockingly voted for the ‘disposal’ of the Kymin and deemed the iconic Penarth landmark as ‘surplus to requirements’.
Cardiff South and Penarth Senedd candidate Alex Wilson said "Many residents, like myself, will have fond memories of attending weddings, birthday parties and charity events at the Kymin.
"It is not just the building that is under immediate danger, but also the beautiful surrounding woodland and grounds that have been enjoyed by generations.
"With no ongoing maintenance being carried out on the building, we feel it is a race against the clock before the Kymin and grounds are lost forever. We need your help!"
Regional Senedd candidate for South Wales Central Rodney Berman added: "With your support and backing we can force the Vale Council to explore plans to return the Kymin to a viable venue for the community of Penarth to use and enjoy.
"Back our campaign to save the Kymin by signing our petition below."
I/we, the undersigned, oppose the Vale Council's plans for the disposal of the Kymin and the decision to declare it 'surplus to the Council's requirement'. We call on the council to find a way to keep the house and its grounds for the community to enjoy.
